Pierre Rousse tends five hectares in western Languedoc, just south of the medieval fortress town, Carcassonne. He grows Merlot, Pinot noir, Cabernet franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, all organically. He's a winemaker's winemaker. Pierre is incredibly patient, and lets the wines become themselves all on their own. These wines are truly unique, and beautifully finessed. Do not miss these.
