Lammidia

Lammidia is the project of childhood friends Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani, who grew up together in Abruzzo and eventually found their way back to each other through wine. What started as curiosity turned into a shared pursuit: making bottles that feel alive, unforced, and completely their own.

They work in the hills between the mountains and the Adriatic, farming organically and keeping things simple in the vineyard. The focus is on healthy fruit and balance in the vines, without chemicals or shortcuts. From there, the cellar work is stripped back to the essentials—spontaneous fermentations, no fining, no filtration, and no additions. Not even sulfur.

The wines often carry a bit of haze, sometimes a light spritz, sometimes sediment in the bottle. None of it is accidental. These are markers of a process that hasn’t been cleaned up or corrected—wines left to move and evolve on their own terms.

Lammidia’s style leans bright, energetic, and direct. 

At its core, Lammidia is still a work in progress by design. Davide and Marco treat each vintage as part of an ongoing conversation—with each other, with the growers around them, and with the broader natural wine community that helped shape their path. The wines reflect that openness: shifting, expressive, and always in motion.
