Domaine Berry-Althoff

Domaine Berry - Althoff is the brainchild of husband and wife duo Robin Althoff and Imogen Berry. The cellar is located in the small town of Aubais about 30 minutes northeast of Montpellier. Robin grew up in the area and Imogen grew up in Alsace. The two met while at wine school in Montpellier and after school traveled to various winemaking regions learning the craft. The search to learn more took them all over France as well as South Africa and California before settling down in Aubais and starting their own Domaine. Biodiversity in the vines is their main focus and everything is organically farmed with a majority being full on biodynamic. Their wines are extremely focused and representative of the terroir of each parcel they harvest fruit from.

Imogen Berry 

Her first vintages were in Argentina and Chile more than 10 years ago. The time she spent making wine in the Loire Valley, South Africa, and California is what inspired Imogen to start her own winery. She always finds new innovative projects for the domaine.

Her goal is to produces pure and precise wines while being environmentally friendly and making sure all partners benefit from the adventure.

Robin Althoff

Robin learned about winemaking and biodynamic farming throughout his youth at his family's winery Costes-Cirgues. He started the Quai à Raisins winery shortly after his master’s degree in Winemaking and his travels through Burgundy, the Roussillon, Napa Valley, and South Africa.

He's always thirsty for more winemaking knowledge to get closer to his final objective, making the most vibrant wines.
