A pure expression of Sumoll. Bright, tart red fruit—cranberry and sour cherry—with a subtle herbal edge and a bit of earth underneath. Light-bodied and lifted, but with enough structure to keep it from feeling simple. There’s a natural freshness here that makes it easy to drink, especially with a slight chill, but it still holds your attention from start to finish.

Bodega Clandestina

Working 8 hectares around the village of Sant Martí Sarroca, Ferran Lacruz farms organically and keeps everything outside the lines of any appellation. No additives, no filtration, no shortcuts—just grapes, handled by hand, and bottled as they come.

He grew up here, surrounded by vines, shaped by the landscape and the culture of wine from a young age. In 2018, he made his first vintage from his uncle's vines, starting from scratch with a friend and a clear idea: make honest wines that reflect where he’s from, without dressing them up.

The vineyards sit on that classic Penedès mix of clay and limestone, and the wines carry it—sun, structure, and a kind of grounded energy that feels true to the place.

There’s a quiet defiance to what Ferran is building. No appellation, no formula—just a young winemaker figuring it out on his own terms, one vintage at a time.
