Julie & Morgan Truchetet

Domaine Truchetet is now in the hands of Morgan and Julie Truchetet—brother and sister, fifth generation, and very much doing things their own way.

Morgan came up through Domaine Lescure in Nuits-Saint-Georges, where he ran the vineyards and got deep into organic farming. Julie never really left—she spent over a decade working alongside their father Jean-Pierre, learning the parcels inside and out.

In 2019, they took over together and immediately started shifting the domaine: organic farming, less (or zero) sulfur, more precision in the cellar, and a general push toward wines that feel more alive.

Vineyards are worked by horse. Everything is geared toward rebuilding soil health and letting each site speak clearly.

These are bottles that overdeliver, especially if you’ve been looking for Burgundy that feels alive without losing its footing.
