Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani
Davide and Marco have been friends since they were 3 years old. Although they took different roads at times, they found each other again during college. Since then, they began their journey into the world of wine.
Lammidia wines are made simply by spontaneously fermented grapes. They don’t add anything else, no clarifying agents or filtration. Residual lees and grape skins are indicators of a genuine and natural process, necessary to keep the wines alive.
In a process of constant research, David and Marko take inspiration from many winemakers that they’ve met on their journey and with whom they continue to have a dialog about how to cultivate, ferment, conserve, and age wines. They are a source through which they synthesize their experience, which is in constant evolution.
